| THE GREAT OUTDOORS
The idea behind the conception of the Great Outdoors was to bring together, on one site, a range of outdoor activities that could be enjoyed by young and old, novice or pro. Following a survey of our existing customers we identified that air rifle and clay shooting, fishing, falconry, archery and gundog training were top choices.
Phase I of transforming the 65 acre site was completed on 1.4.06 with the opening of our 5,000 sq ft store.
Phase II was the building of the cafe, toilets which opened 15.12.07 and indooor air rifle range which is due for completion spring 2007.
Phase III will be the creation of the fishing ponds and outdoor activities.
We have currently set up a temporary outdoor 60 yard air rifle range where customers can use their own air rifles or hire one from the shop. Qualified coaching is available for novices.
We now also offer clay shooting instruction with a qualified CPSA instructor. Instruction for beginners will cover gun safety, gun handling, gun fit and eye dominance check. We can also offer novices coaching to improve existing technique. Clay coaching gift vouchers are also available and would make ideal presents.
