Archery Open Day

Ever wanted to try Archery

come to Euroguns on Saturday the 12th of June and we will have one of the country,s top archers to show you the way.

BASC - Young Shots Day

10th July 2010

This event has been cancelled.

Activities on the day are one to one shotgun coaching with BASC Shotgun Coaches, air rifle tuition, an introduction to pigeon shooting and dogs for deer. Activity day aimed at youngsters between 9 and 18 year of age.

BASC - Young Shots Improvers Day

27th July 2010

Eligibility - to be eligible a Young Shot must be;

A) A BASC member.

B) Have attended a minimum of 2 Young Shots Activity Days (or have some shooting experience) prior to the Improvers Day. This ensures the participants have been coached on at least two previous occasions.

C) Be aged between 12 and 18 years.

Maximum on each course - 20

Cost - £50.00 per Young Shot per day, includes all clays, cartridges and use of shotguns (participants may use their own shotgun with the approval of the coaching team).

Format for the day

1) Shooting theory, short lectures and demonstrations.

2) Coached shooting across a number of stands with varied targets.

3) Informal competition - team flush.

4) Presentation and dispersal.

Objectives - safe shooting, effective shooting, confident shooting, fun shooting.

Time – 9.00am (prompt) to 5.00pm (approx)
